Accessibility

LAST UPDATED · 26 June 2026

We want everyone to be able to use this website, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We have built it with accessibility in mind and we treat it as ongoing work rather than a box to tick.

Conformance target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines are also the standard most commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and equivalent laws elsewhere.

What we’ve done

  • Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
  • A “skip to content” link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
  • Respect for the “reduced motion” setting — animations and the moving backdrop stop for visitors who ask for less motion.
  • A pause control for the auto-scrolling reviews.
  • Descriptive alternative text on photographs, with decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
  • Semantic page structure, landmarks, and a sensible heading order.
  • Colour contrast that meets the AA minimum, and touch targets sized for easier tapping.

Known limitations

The animated hero is purely decorative and is hidden from assistive technology. Some of the writing on this site is deliberately playful and satirical; this is creative tone rather than factual content. If anything causes confusion or a barrier, please tell us.

Tell us about a problem

If you come across anything that is difficult or impossible to use, we want to hear about it and will do our best to put it right. A contact address for accessibility reports will be published here shortly.
